Audialize (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by Audialize.com, registered in the Netherlands. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use our platform at audialize.com (the “Service”).
Account data: When you register, we collect your name and email address via Google OAuth or email/password authentication.
Media files: Audio and video files you upload for processing.
Generated output: Subtitle files, transcriptions, translations, and other outputs generated by the Service.
Usage data: Information about how you use the Service, including processing minutes, API calls, timestamps, and feature usage.
Payment data: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details. We receive limited billing information such as customer identifiers and subscription status.
We use your data to:
• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process uploaded media and generate outputs
• Manage subscriptions and billing
• Communicate with you regarding your account or jobs
• Provide customer support
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of the Service
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use your uploaded content or generated outputs to train AI or machine learning models. Data is processed solely to deliver the Service.
We use trusted third-party service providers (“sub-processors”) to operate and deliver the Service. These may include:
• Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, and databases
• Authentication providers for secure login
• Payment processors for billing and subscriptions
• AI and machine learning providers for transcription, translation, and related processing
• Communication providers for transactional emails and notifications
These providers process personal data strictly on our behalf and under contractual data protection agreements. A current list of sub-processors is available upon request.
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
• Contract performance — to deliver the Service you signed up for
• Legitimate interest — to improve functionality, security, and performance
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax and financial regulations
• Consent — where required, including non-essential cookies or communications
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service:
• Uploaded media files are stored for a maximum of 30 days after processing, unless deleted earlier
• Generated outputs are retained as long as needed for Service functionality, unless deleted by the user
• Account data is retained until account deletion
After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
We may retain anonymised and aggregated data for analytics and operational purposes.
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of your data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — delete your data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Restriction — limit processing
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
You can delete your account via the application settings.
To exercise your rights, contact privacy@audialize.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies required for authentication and core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies. Where limited analytics are used, these are implemented in a privacy-conscious manner.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including:
• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Access control and least-privilege principles
• Secure storage and logical data isolation
• Monitoring and logging of system activity
Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:
• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
• Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Additional technical and organisational measures where necessary
If you use the Service as a business customer, you may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governing the processing of personal data on your behalf.
